Hey, I'm Akash Mishra. I'm currently doing my B.Com at University of Delhi, but alongside that I spend a lot of time learning web development. I started with basic HTML during a vacation and slowly moved into CSS, JavaScript and backend stuff.
Most of what I know comes from trying things myself, watching tutorials, and solving problems while building projects. I grew up in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, and computers always fascinated me. When I found out you could actually build websites with a bit of code, that was it for me.
I know, a commerce student who codes — doesn't really check out on paper. But it's actually pretty useful. I understand how businesses think, what they need from a website, and I can build it too. It's not the usual path, but honestly it's worked out pretty well so far.
When I'm not buried in code or textbooks, I'm probably gaming. I've been a gamer for as long as I can remember — it's not just fun, it actually shapes how I think about design and problem-solving. Plus, it's a great way to unwind after a long debugging session.
The big milestones that got me from "what's HTML?" to where I am now
Self Learning
Taught myself HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from YouTube and docs. Built a bunch of sites along the way — some good, some... learning experiences.
Online Courses
Learned how to actually work with databases — designing tables, writing SQL, making sure things don't fall apart when real users show up.
In Progress
Getting into Flutter and React Native because I want to build apps too, not just websites. Still early days but it's been fun.
In ProgressCareer Goal
The plan is to go deeper into React, Node.js, and maybe some cloud stuff. I want to build things that can actually scale and handle real traffic.
UpcomingUniversity of Delhi
Just started my B.Com here. Balancing accounting lectures with coding projects — it's a juggling act, but I'm making it work.
National Public School, Deoria
Finished 12th with Commerce. This is where I decided I wanted to study business alongside my coding.
ST Joseph's High School, Barhaj, Deoria
Wrapped up 10th grade here. Good school, solid foundation — and this is where I first got hooked on tech stuff.
When I'm not coding or studying, here's what I'm usually up to
Big-time gamer. I switch between competitive multiplayer matches and long single-player story games depending on my mood.
I'm always trying out new tools and frameworks. If something looks interesting, I'll probably spend the weekend experimenting with it.
This one's obvious — I genuinely enjoy building websites. Making something that looks good and actually works is the best feeling.
Love playing gully cricket with friends and watching IPL matches. There's nothing like a good last-over finish.
Commerce student, so naturally I started looking at the stock market. I follow charts, read up on companies, and I'm slowly learning how investing works.
I don't get to travel as much as I'd like, but when I do, I love discovering new places and trying local food. Delhi's been an adventure on its own.
I'm not offering any services right now, but I'm always eager to connect with fellow developers. Drop me a message.
